Well.....that didn’t go as planned! Was having a great race in the Twins Cup MotoAmerica Season Final at Barber Motorsports Park. Had a great start and had a great 11 lap battle with 4-6 other racers that split away from the field. But...on lap 11 coming thru the 5th gear left right flick onto the back straight away the bike dropped out of fifth into a false neutral!! Oh FAK! I managed to keep the bike on the track but for the last two and a half laps. I had to keep constant pressure on the shift lever...both up and down shifting, otherwise it would drop into a false neutral. Well I kept it together for two laps, but on the last lap entering turn 2 it caught me. Down I went as I was at lean angle and the bike just dropped into neutral. It was a pretty hard hit but hey...That’s Racing!! Shout out to AP MotoArts the #Yamaha YZ-07 I was riding is fully in the development stage, so parts break, its part of the deal.
