What one group of friends did to honour a friend after losing him in road race accident. John Ross raced his last lap of life, and succumbed to his injuries at Le Circuit Mont- Tremblant on Sunday, August 25, 2013. That year they created the annual JR Macrae Invitational Ice Race.
JR grew up around motorcycles his whole life. His first two wheel ride was at age two and by the time he was a teenager he had turned pro competing regularly in regional and national events, both in Canada and the United States one of his favourite places to be was up at the cabin during the winter doing laps all day and night.
Since 2013 the group has kept up the tradition and you can see the highlights of each year here.
